M. Allen Tech Client's Robotics Process Automation Saved FTE & Reduced Up-To 99% of Data Entry

About the Client Assisted

Project Background

Keysight's Central Vendor Administration (CVA) department sought M. Allen's tech client, Speridian Technologies, to help to automate 5 of their Supplier-related processes. They were tedious, with multiple touchpoints and mundane tasks, and were handled manually by staff.  The CVA team was looking for an effective automation solution that can be applied to its various business regions. The automation scope included legacy Oracle ERP applications that did not respond consistently and caused process execution failures. After a thorough analysis, Speridian proposed and deployed attended robots, which ensured error-free and fast execution of the entire process.

Speridian Solution & Benefits

Speridian successfully implemented a UiPath RPA solution and had the following highlights:

  • The BOTs were designed to execute in an 'attended' manner in a dedicated machine

  • It automatically picked Supplier files and pushed to Orchestrator web application to create queue items

  • The Orchestrator allowed Process owners to administer and control BOT executions

  • The proposed solution included effective log mechanisms, exception handling mechanisms with automated notifications to stakeholders
